“How did I learn to embrace the gift of Macoy?” with Mirenda Canady

Sometimes, having the strength to navigate some of life’s hardest situations is a miracle!

Sometimes we can want our situation to change. But sometimes that situation can be the key to our miracle.

I had a great talk with Mirenda Cannady about how she was able to embrace one of her hardest situations and trust God to help her through the process.

You can listen to it here:

Today, I am speaking with Mirenda Canady.  She is the mother of a teenager daughter who has a developmental disability. . . I said “intellectual disability” during this episode but I am certain that “developmental disability” is the right phrase.

Mrs Canady is sharing what this journey has been like for her, how the Lord has encouraged her during this journey and how she is now encouraging other mothers.  She is a spiritual growth coach and is passionate about helping others to understand the Bible and apply it to their daily lives.

In addition to being a spiritual growth coach, Mrs Canady is a wife and Bible Study Leader.  She created the non-profit WhyStayMarried in which she encourages women who find themselves in difficult marriages and encourages them to study the bible, practice self-care and engage in community service.

You can connect with Mrs Canady via LinkedIn. You can also email her at: mirendacanady@gmail.com.
