How do I write this book?

Season 2, Episode 2: How do I write this book?

Today, we are talking about mindset!

Do you have a fixed or a growth mindset?  Did you even know that there was such a thing?!

I will also be sharing some affirmations that will help you to expand your mindset!

I also spoke with Lakaysha Scott. We discussed her mindset shift and the process that she went through to write her book.

Lakaysha “Kay” Scott (best known as Kay Flowerz) was born and raised in Southern California, in the beautiful Inland Empire. Most important to her are her faith and community. In her leisure time, you can almost always find her writing, working out, or sharing inspirational words on her social media. The Psalms of Flowerz is Kay’s first poetry book.

Affirmations to remember:

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY BELIEVE MY PRAYERS ARE HEARD.

Mark 11:24 – I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you’ve received it, it will be yours.

I AM NOT WHO I ONCE WAS; I AM FORGIVEN.

2 Corinthians 5:17 – Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.

I AM STRONG AND COURAGEOUS.

Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV – Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

I AM MORE THAN A CONQUEROR.

Romans 8:31 – If God is for us, who can be against us? We are more than conquerors through Him who loves us)

I AM ALWAYS ON GOD’S MIND.

Psalms 139:13 – You alone created my inner being. You knitted me together inside my mother’s womb Psalm 139:13-16 The Message (MSG) Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you, High God—you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration—what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.
